Alex Laffey and co-driver Jack Morton go racing ahead into the ALMC 2013 rally on a high after an excellent run in last month’s Jim Clark Rally. Team Laffey Motorsport finished an impressive 9th overall in the MSA asphalt championship at the event.
This strong result will boost the crews’ confidence as they head across to Dublin for the first of the two Irish rounds of the MSA Asphalt Championship.
Leading up to the event Alex said, “I am starting to feel much more confident in how I should be driving the new car and the pace seems to be getting better. Each event is different but the ALMC provides some fantastic stages that are very fast. I am going into the event happy with my progress in the car and will be looking to improve again.”
The ALMC stage take place on 7th of July and is based out of the Dunboyne castle hotel in Co. Meath. The rally takes place on the legendary Irish lanes which consist of very fast and narrow lanes and technical roads that will challenge the crews racing ahead.
