There are so many skincare brands, from budget to pretty pricey. But we realise you’ll probably be looking to find a healthy balance between good products that work and lower priced items. c

Skincare is HUGE right now! But as a student, your budget probably isn’t. Check out some of the best budget skincare brands you can get on the high street at a student-friendly price!

Nivea– One of the most well-known skincare brands, Nivea, has a HUGE range of products. They are very affordable and have different ranges for all skin types. Their product range includes everything from night creams and face washes, to face masks and their popular MicellAIR water. 

Simple– Ingredients which are kind to skin and perfect for sensitive skin. Simple has a wide range of products for varying skin types, but all of which include no nasties keeping your skincare, well Simple. 

Garnier– Another well- established skincare brand, Garnier products include their main range, a skin active range for problematic skin, and Garnier organics which are formulated with organic products. You are guaranteed to find a fab Garnier product. 

Neutrogena– Great for those with blackheads, spots, oily skin or large pores and tackling these problems head-on. Plus their pink grapefruit & vitamin C range smells delicious, (however, please do not eat). 

CeraVe– Created by dermatologists, formulated with 3 ceramides and hyaluronic acid, they have a simple yet effective range of products. Their moisturising lotion for dry skin has been dubbed one of the must-have skincare products. 

Nip + Fab– Known for including the best active ingredients in their products, each of which has a specific property. Whether it’s salicylic acid for exfoliating and unclogging pores, or its vitamin C to protect skin cells from damage. Maybe a little pricier, but you can find lots of their products at half price in various stores. 

Avene– Their selling point is ‘expert dermatological care for sensitive skin, with clinically proven soothing thermal spring water’. Avene know what they’re on about when it comes to skincare and we’re here for it. 

Biore– Another brand great for those with spots or problematic skin, their charcoal skincare range is very popular. 

Revolution Skincare– A very popular make-up brand who have stepped into skincare and are becoming hugely popular. They have a huge range with everything from serums and face masks to oils and toners. 

B.Skincare– This Superdrug brand has become very popular, their product range includes every staple skincare product you could want. With products starting at less than £1! It’s a must-try. 

T-Zone– Face masks and nose strips, perfect for a girls night of pampering. 

Olay– A firm favourite with generations before us, but don’t let that put you off, there is a reason it’s been a firm favourite for years. Why not try one of their many different formulations of moisturiser? 

Vichy– Another great brand which has been formulated with active ingredients, they are known for mixing skincare with make-up in their Dermablend foundation. 

Superdrug– Own brand products are becoming so popular because their quality is brilliant. They have a few different ranges including Vitamin C, tea tree, CBD, calm skin, deep action and fruity, so you will 100% find products that you love and for a great price. 

Boots– Like Superdrug, Boots has various own brands which are fantastic. These include Vitamin C, L;ft, Tea Tree & Witch Hazel, Ingredients, Glow and Cucumber. You are guaranteed to find a few products that suit your skin to a T.  

Other great budget skincare brands include Weleda, St. Ives, Freederm, Cetaphil, Eucerin, Clean and Clear, Ordinary, Clearasil, La Roche-Posay, Naturally Radiant and many many more but we’d be here all day.
