The Festival Guide 2019

Summer is almost here, which means one thing, it’s almost festival season! The UK festival scene is the most vibrant and eclectic in the world, with fans of all musical genres spoilt for choice. Wherever you live and whatever your budget, you’re certain to find a festival that’s the right fit for you. 2019 offers another year of exciting festivals and fantastic line-ups, with events up and down the country wetting our musical whistles. Here we reveal what festivals you should be looking forward to this year, how much they cost and what you can expect in our festival guide for 2019.

Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June 2019

Taking place at Heaton Park in Manchester, Parklife always offers a fantastic line-up and an equally amazing atmosphere. This year is set to be no different! Cardi B, George Ezra, Solange, The Streets, Khalid, Disclosure, Major Lazer, Christine and the Queens and Mark Ronson are just a snippet of the acts that are featured in this year’s line-up.

Day tickets are priced from £69.50. Final tickets are on sale now, so head to the Parklife website to bag yours sooner rather than later.

Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June 2019

If you’re more of a rock fan, then Download is the festival for you. This year’s line-up is bigger and better than ever as the festival returns to Leicestershire’s Donnington Park. Def Leppard, Slipknot, Tool, Slash, Whitesnake and Smashing Pumpkins are just some of the acts that will take to the stage at Download.

A 5-night camping ticket is available for £220.00. Quiet camping options and day tickets are also available. Purchase your ticket for Download 2019.

Isle of Wight Festival

Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th June 2019

This year’s Isle of Wight Festival promises a bevy of amazing acts on each of its three days. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, George Ezra and Biffy Clyro are headlining, with a long list of acts from various genres (including Fatboy Slim) joining them. It may be the UK’s longest running festival but it’s still got it!

Tickets are on sale now, with student weekend tickets available from £160. Day tickets are also available from £60. Buy tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival here.

Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th June 2019

We couldn’t mention festivals without paying homage to the return of Glastonbury. Organisers are still keeping schtum about the acts, but we’re expecting big things. Tickets have already sold out but you may still be able to get your hands on one of the hottest festival tickets of this year. A ticket resale will take place in April.

Full weekend tickets are priced at £248 plus a £5 booking fee. Anyone wanting to buy a ticket for Glastonbury 2019 should register here.
