London

Whatever your interests, you’ll find something to keep you entertained in central London. Whilst accommodation and travel costs may be on the high side, there are several things that you can do for free in London. You can while away your entire break sightseeing in the capital with Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and Westminster Abbey just some of the must-sees.

Bath

The best of a city on a much smaller scale, Bath is a charming and sophisticated destination. Students looking to indulge themselves in some rest and relaxation will love Bath. Its famous Thermae Bath provides the ultimate spa experience as well as a chance to take in local history. Here you can enjoy the area’s hot, natural springs like the Celts and Romans did some 2,000 years ago.

Liverpool

If the party scene is more your thing, Liverpool is the place to visit for your UK city break. You can enjoy the best of both worlds, with the clubbing and live music scenes both ready and waiting to be explored. Liverpool provides an extensive array of shops too, with shopping complex Liverpool One a shopaholic’s paradise.

Newcastle

We can’t mention party cities without giving a nod to Newcastle. The city is more than just a place to party hard until the early morning however. A cultural hotspot that’s brimming with entertainment day and night, you’ll find lots of things to do and to see in Newcastle.

Oxford

With its dreamy spires and riverside walks, Oxford provides an escape to enjoy the finer things. You can’t ignore the city’s history when visiting, with its world class university, shops, pubs and restaurants all having their own stories to tell.

Aberdeen

The Granite City may be known and loved for its impressive architecture, but it’s a hive of activity too with a number of museums and galleries to enjoy. Team this with a buzzing night life and an interesting maritime history, and you’ve got a city break that satisfies everyone. Its beaches, parkland and rural landscapes are also must-visits during those summer months.
